Well, what an absolute treat to wake up and find. Ellie Goulding has been busy busy over in the States these one or two years, and we have missed her dearly. Probably my favourite female artist around, I've been waiting to hear her new material for ages, or even just to see her working in the UK again. But this is a true surprise and a super one at that. Ellie has covered The Weeknd's opening track to his debut mixtape, produced by Chiddy Bang's Xaphoon Jones. Her version of "High For This", which is by no means an easy song to cover, is quite amazing with her vocals taking the new-wave R&B beat by the reigns and she kills it!
