After what was a massive success in the Valtari campaign, from the recording to the videos and most recently their worldwide tour, Sigur Rós have announced a new album coming very soon. "Kveikur", the first album released as a now 11-piece band, is described as more aggressive, and you can feel that instantly in this unveiled track "Brennisteinn". Almost a battle of the instruments in a climactic and even dramatic number, you can watch the video below.
"Valtari" is one of my favourite albums to date and I was gutted to miss out on their London shows last month, but with new material arriving already, I am defiant not to miss out again. They'll actually be playing Wembley Arena on November 21, a huge venue for what promises to be a huge gig.
