Six months on from the release of the superb Beach House album "Bloom" comes this video for one of my favourite tracks "Wild". With an intense burst of emotion towards the end in the visuals, the music is all the more special.

I bought this a few weeks back, the Muji book by Rizzoli. Providing an insight into the brand's philosophy and presented with some beautiful photographs, it's the ultimate bookshelf material. Funnily enough I got myself a Muji shelf for it to rest on too. Yeahhh.

BLOG: ART OF SOCKS BY ETIQUETTE CLOTHIERS

This is fucking cool. A visual documentary of what's actually quite a mundane process that is sock making, I love the light and comical approach, which makes this so fascinating to watch. Etiquette Clothiers hit the nail on the head with their strap line of "most proper basics". Each sock is meticulously designed and carefully crafted by excellent technology and experienced hands, to execute what is a quality, detailed and premium 'basic'. It is indeed a piece of art, and one that is portrayed wonderfully in this short film.

DIARY: BON IVER LIVE AT WEMBLEY ARENA

Last night was the night I had been waiting a year and a half for. Bon Iver, live. I've watched their performances over before, but to be there in the same room, feeling every vibration, every movement, the passionate sound of every instrument was simply magical. I may have been sat at the back but the experience was one I couldn't be happier to have been a part of.

MAG: NIKE FREE RUN +2 WOOL NRG

Nike nail the trend for this winter with this lush combination of wool and leather for the upper construction of these Free Run +2s. In a subdued dark brown with hits of bright red colourway, these make for a killer pair of running shoes. To be released soon, they'd go excellently side by side with my navy blue Liberty pepper print pair...

The Weeknd's self-directed video for his track with Drake "The Zone", the official video for Lucy Rose's new single "Middle Of The Bed", and Lana Del Rey's track "Bel Air" off of her upcoming "Born To Die: Paradise Edition" album, which should be arriving at my door very soon.

DIARY: GRAPHIC DESIGNER AM I

It's not set in stone that I am or that I will be a graphic designer, but this is quite remarkable in its accuracy. I know it doesn't go into much specific detail, similar to those astrology columns in the newspaper, but every point here fits me... Bose headphones, the specs, Apple everything, graphic tee (usually by Victate of course), skinny/slim trousers, form over function sneakers. And I love my coffee. I wouldn't say I'm an addict, but in terms of daily intake it's probably higher than an addict's... Oh and Helvetica obviously.

BLOG: BENZEL & JESSIE WARE VIDEO BY STUDIO MOROSS

A lovely music video by Kate Moross and her team for Jessie Ware's cover of Brownstone's "If You Love Me", produced by young Japanese duo called BenZel. Musically, Jessie Ware's sultry vocals fit BenZel's rich 90s beats like magic and I absolutely love it. As for the moving image, Moross, who is still by all means a young creative from London, has directed a few videos for Jessie Ware but filled with beautiful textures and fluidity, this animated silhouette is my favourite.

DIARY: JAPANESE UDON AT KOYA

I went out for dinner with my dad yesterday and he took me to a Japanese udon restaurant in Soho. I'd heard of it before but it was my first time. And it was good. The shop was cosy with natural and clean aesthetics, the menu design was simple and cute, as was the staff uniform. Plus there was a 30-minute queue when we got there, lining the pavement of Dean Street, which is always a great thing especially for a little independent store. The staff, well-numbered including a couple of native Japanese members, all seemed to have been trained sufficiently, impressively uttering words like "onegaishimasu" and "hai" as if they were actually working in Japan. I enjoyed it. And I enjoyed it more because my dad paid. Yes, unfortunately the prices are, whilst admittedly in keeping with the standard in the location, very high for what's actually a pretty simple traditional dish in Japan. So I won't be visiting as a casually regular customer, but it's certainly a place I will keep in mind for good authentic food.

MAG: NIKE SB JANOSKI MID PREMIUM BROGUE

New in this season is the second colourway of the Premium Brogue edition of the popular Janoski Mids by Nike Sb. Coming in all black everything, the leather upper features wingtip accents to add a sense of sophistication to the skate shoes. I'm still not convinced about the brogues, although I don't disagree that they will for sure turn heads. And I do like the dead black look. Thoughts?

BLOG: AMP-FOOT 2.0

A new prosthetic, developed in Vrije Universiteit Brussel, looks to have innovated the Ankle Mimicking Prosthetic which brings back a natural spring in the user's step. Now I don't know anything about prosthetic technology, but this appears very lifelike in its free-flowing movement, particularly that bounce at the heel as the foot steps off the ground. The speed and elasticity there seem on point! Plus it doesn't weigh much more than the average foot, very impressive.

DIARY: CAPITAL ONE CUP MADNESS

This week was Round 4 of the league cup and there were some bizarre matches. We took some boys from JFC on a trip to the Reading v Arsenal match at the Madjeski Stadium, we definitely didn't expect to witness a 7-5 result after extra time. They loved it. Hell, I loved it. Way home was tough though, kids falling asleep left, right and centre (some while standing). And then Chelsea v Man Utd scoring another 8 goals in another thriller at Stamford Bridge. Madness.
